It's nice to go to bed for once after watching some good news on TV for a change. The pilot that brought that plane down today in New York is such a stud. What a miracle, too, that he didn't hit the bridge, that those ferries were so readily available, etc. I just know DH would have the same skill and cool-headed reflexes in that emergency; he's proven it more than once to me. He's considered renewing his pilot's license before, and it would be great if he'd do that some day in the near future.
Sweet dreams of cute sweaters and other treasures to you~

Ahh -your mom is such a cutie!
The news has been covering that story non stop! I cry every time someone talks about their loved one and families. They coined it "Miracle on the Hudson". I can't imagine what those people were thinking. Definitely good news to go to bed with. (Yet - I keep thinking how close to home this was - and that fact that I'll be on an 18 hour flight in a few months....ahhhhhh)
My lovely awesome super duper pin arrived today! I loveeeee her! Thank you - will send you an email tomorrow!
I was actually thinking about you when that happened, that you're so close there, but at the same time, I was thinking how you were so close to such an exciting and amazing occurence.
For me at least, I like those long flights so much more because they're the mambo big planes (with the nice hot towels they bring around, lol), and they're just so much more comfy than the small planes... and another thing.... Xanax. :o)
Just remember that pilot, Renee, they have their vehicles in control sweetie! DH has flown for years (he wants to get his license renewed actually), and he is always telling me how much they are so trained and confident of their plane. Plus you have your own studly and beautiful future husband to take wonderful care of you!
thank you so much for taking loving care of my doll pin, you're the sweetest. {{hugs}}
